During the EPA Congress in Madrid 2025, EPA and EUFAS will hold a joint symposium on ICD-11 and addiction diagnostics.

Lisbon Addictions is a multidisciplinary conference that provides a forum for networking across the addictions.

The EUFAS Executive Committee and board will have a meeting at the Lisbon Addictions 2019 conference in Lisbon Portugal 23rd-25th of October. Also the General Assembly 2019 will be held during the Lisbon Addiction Congress.

The 2018 edition of the 'Summer school on illicit drugs Europe' will take place from 25 June - 6 July 2018.

Two-week summer school in Lisbon on the drugs problem in Europe and beyond involving Scientific Experts from the EMCDDA and guest lecturers from European Universities.

In addition to our established delegates' sessions, our 2017 Conference will also feature sessions funded by the SSA.

Following the first edition held in Lisbon (Portugal) in 2015 the Second European Conference on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies will take place in the Congress Centre of Lisbon from 24 to 26 October 2017. The conference will be jointly organised by the Portuguese General Directorate for Intervention on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies (SICAD), the journal Addiction, the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and the International Society of Addiction Journal Editors (ISAJE).

The TWIST project (Training WIth Stakeholders – applying EU drug and addiction research) is designing a training strand on using addiction research and knowledge, with the participation of the target audience (early stage professionals and stakeholders from multiple sectors), to be delivered within the frame of the Lisbon Addictions 2017 conference (24-26 October 2017).
